Prof. Saifur Rahman, Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Climate Magazine,  moderated the panel entitled “Role of AI in Accelerating Energy System Innovation & Transition” at the IEEE Tech for Sustainability Summit that was held in New York on Sept. 23, 2026.  The summit was a half-day gathering of engineering leaders, policymakers, and industry decision-makers shaping the infrastructure behind a sustainable AI era.
