Saifur Rahman attended the side event on Empowering the Future: Green Skill and Green Talent Development for Young People in the Global South that was hosted jointly by the Indian Network on Ethics and Climate Change (INECC), LAYA, the Center for Sustainable Development (CSD), Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics and the TERRE Policy Centre.  The talk was focused on the need and opportunities for skill development among the young technologists so they can contribute to the fast and sustainable development of green technologies to mitigate CO2 emissions. Saifur also presented the IEEE Climate Change program which was very well received.
